An Introduction to Mindfulness

During the Introduction to Mindfulness 4-week course you will learn the basics of mindfulness practice that will help you worry less and live more. You’ll learn about:

  • ‘Waking up’ your senses and developing greater awareness of what’s happening around you
  • Finding freedom from judgements, unhelpful beliefs and habits
  • Creating breathing space, taking time but achieving more
  • Letting go of expectations and enjoying new experiences with an open mind.

Each week you’ll work on a different topic and gradually build your awareness and practice.  The course is carried out in small groups with a spirit of connection, compassion and kindness. It’s great to learn from other people’s experience as well as your own.

In addition to the course, you will also receive:

  • Membership to a private Facebook group giving support and guidance throughout the course
  • All course materials and recorded guided meditations that are yours for life.
  • A weekly Facebook LIVE where I answer your questions throughout the course.

We’ll meet weekly for 4 weeks.  Each session will be 90 minutes from 7.30 pm via Zoom.  It is better if you can attend each week, but all sessions will be recorded and can be made available for you to catch up. 

There will be exercises for you to practice at home through the week which will take around 30 minutes a day.  This is an essential part of the course.
