It’s well documented that slowing down and focusing on our breath, even for a minute, is hugely beneficial to our overall wellbeing.  Research shows that regularly practicing mindfulness makes changes in the brain that help to reduce the negative effects of modern life, stress, anxiety and depression so we can lead a happier and more fulfilled life.

The Practical Stuff

  • Course lengths vary and are designed to introduce you to the practice of mindfulness in a gentle, step-by-step way, giving you the tools you need to achieve calm, clarity and contentment. These tools will be with you for life.
  • All courses are carried out in small groups* with an ethos of connection, compassion and kindness. As a member of the group, you’ll quickly become part of a supportive community and enjoy the feeling of shared experience, encouragement and success.
  • Throughout all courses there will be time during the session for group discussion and reflection. Hearing the experiences of others is as much a part of your learning as the practice itself but you only do what you are happy to do. If you don’t feel comfortable to share, that’s fine – this is your journey.
  • Sessions will be at a venue in Loughborough or via Zoom.
